4 LIVE BULLETS

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets produced a 5-star first half performance to open a 6-point gap with their closest challenger Mighty Wanderers following a 4-0 riot over Kamuzu Barracks.

The table toppers made their intentions clear as early as 5 minutes when midfielder Mike Mkwate put them ahead with a header following a series of clear goal scoring opportunities misses inside the box.

This is the second time Mkwate has found the back of the net in back-to-back matches since his return from a career threatening injury that ruled him out of action for the entire of last season.

Despite leading comfortably 2-0, Bullets were not yet done with the first half as Wongani Lungu would register his name on the score sheet with 33 minutes played inside the first half after being put through by the exciting Chikumbutso Salima who is probably Bullets’ man to watch this season.

As the old age saying goes that desperate situations call for desperate measures, KB made several changes in an attempt of trying to force results as Bullets’ second half substitute Sean Macbrams would hit the final nail on the coffin of the visiting soldiers with 15 minutes left to play.

And that’s how it finished at the end of regulation with that result moving Bullets 6 points clear of their closest rivals Mighty Wanderers who face defending Champions Silver Strikers on Sunday at Kamuzu Stadium.

As for Kamuzu Barracks their lacklustre performance has seen them slump into position 6 with 10 points from 7 games.
