Farmers Organisation Ltd says they are delighted with the way the new Super League of Malawi (SULOM) office bearers are handling the TNM Super League.
The Company’s National Sales and Marketing Manager Ronald Chilumpha said this on Thursday in Blantyre during the presentation of the K3.6million cheque which is a third tranche of sponsorship for the Man of the Match award.
Chilumpha said the company is satisfied with reforms which SULOM has undertaken administrative and operational wise that has helped to promote the FOL through the Man of the Match individual awards.
He stated that the reforms are positive urging SULOM to continue with improvements to the league which he said will get more support from the company.
Chilumpha also said he believes football is a good platform for the company’s rebranding strategy to AECI Health as it will help them to reach out to the masses with ease.
In his remarks, SULOM General Secretary Williams Banda hailed the company for fulfilling part of the payment which he said will enhance competition among players in the league.
Chitipa United leads as the team with more Katswiri wa Alimi award with 13 trophies.
The company started sponsoring the Man of the Match Award last year and the stake is at K14.5million.
