Following the disorderliness that took place on 13th April 2025 at Dedza Stadium in a TNM Super League match between Premier Bet Dedza Dynamos and Mzuzu City Hammers, SULOM hereby wishes to inform the general public that the Disciplinary Committee met and found Dedza guilty of failing to control the actions of its supporters and bringing the League into disrepute.
Premier Bet Dedza Dynamos has been fined a total of MK4,500,000.00 in penalties for the two counts. The fines are to be paid before the next official match. Failure to pay the above fines will result in the forfeiture of the club’s next official match until the fines are settled.
Further to the fines, the Disciplinary Committee has issued a stern warning to Premier Bet Dedza Dynamos noting the club’s previous disciplinary record; any further misconduct from the club may attract harsher penalties, including points deduction or suspension of Dedza Stadium as the home venue
The determination from the Disciplinary Committee comes after a thorough review of submitted reports and documentation—including video footage, formal complaints, medical referrals, referee reports, and responses from the accused. Premier Bet Dedza Dynamos was also called to a disciplinary hearing.
SULOM remains committed to ensuring discipline, safety, and professionalism within the League. Clubs are urged to uphold the integrity of the game and ensure that football remains a safe and respectful environment for all.
