Mighty Wanderers and defending Champions Silver Strikers produced some late drama as the two sides settled for a point each at Kamuzu Stadium.
Wanderers’ last week hero Francisco Madinga was again the toast of the day tormenting Bankers’ defence but the visitors held on till half time.
Former FCB Nyasa Big Bullets teammates Chimwemwe Idana and Precious Sambani at one time teamed up but still the first half would end goalless.
Knowing the sensitivity of the second half, both teams made substitutions with the visitors taking out striker Stain Davie and attacking Midfielder Uchizi Vunga for Emmanuel Allan and Levison Maganizo.
For Wanderers they too made substitutions of their own introducing last season’s top goal scorer Isaac Kaliati after 66 minutes.
Despite substitutions, both teams would still be made to wait for the breakthrough 89 minutes into the match.
The nomads took the lead through substitute Blessings Mwalilino on 90 minutes but that lead was short-lived as 3 minutes later Chinsinsi Maonga curled in a beauty from outside the box to level matters.
That draw means this is the first time the Nomads have dropped points this season.
As for  Silver Strikers they now occupy 10th place following that draw.
