Bullets Goalie yet to concede
With action in the tnm Super League on recess paving way for the FIFA window, FCB Nyasa Big Bullets goalkeeper Richard Chimbamba is already making history for himself.
This far, Chimbamba is the only goalkeeper yet to concede a goal in the league.
Chimbamba has played in three of Bullet’s seven matches so far and in all those three matches Bullets maintained clean sheets.
The Flames’ on and off goalie’s first clean sheet was on the opening day of the season when Bullets narrowly beat defending Champions Silver Strikers 0-1 away at Bingu Stadium.
His two other clean sheets came in matches against Premier Bet Dedza Dynamos and Chitipa United.
His fine form has seen him earn back-to-back national team call ups and he is also part of the Malawi national team squad currently in South Africa for the 2025 Hollywood Bets COSAFA Championship.
If he is to realise his dream of winning the Golden glove, he will however have to battle it out with Karonga United’s Maclean Mwale, Eliasi Missi of Ekhaya and Joshua Waka of Blue Eagles who have already maintained 4 clean sheets.
On three clean sheets Chimbamba is also facing competition from Creck’s Brighton Munthali and Chancy Mtete of Mighty Wanderers.
