Three standout performers have been shortlisted for the FDH Bank Premiership Player of the Month award for May following impressive displays during the opening weeks of the season.
Mighty Wanderers forward Lameck Mithi earns his nomination after scoring five goals in six matches, including becoming the second player this season to register a hat-trick. His impressive form also saw him claim one Man of the Match Award.
Silver Strikers midfielder Ernest Petro has also made the shortlist after featuring in all six league matches. Petro scored once and collected two Man of Match awards.
Completing the three-man shortlist is Webster Mzunda of Blue Eagles. Mzunda has been ever present for his side in the opening six matches and has twice been named Man of the Match, playing a key role in Blue Eagles’ encouraging perfomance.
