ALL FOR NOMADS TO WIN IT

Mighty Wanderers could win the Championship of the TNM Super League  this weekend with victory over Moyale Barracks if closest challengers and noisy neighbours FCB Nyasa Big Bullets falter at Mpira against Mighty Tigers.

Wanderers hold a three point lead heading into the last but one weekend of the 2025 season.

With Wanderers and Bullets playing at the same time, the Lali Lubani boys will be hoping that they do the damage to Moyale whilst at the same time praying that Tigers do them a favour by avoiding defeat against Bullets.

It has been a rollercoaster season with the 2 Blantyre giants swapping the top 2 positions for a better part of the season.

All that could however come to an end this weekend if Wanderers secure maximum points over Moyale and Bullets fail to beat Tigers.

It is a tricky one for Bullets though as they face a team fighting relegation.

Mighty Tigers currently occupy position 15 with 26 points from 27 games and victory would see them move into 14th positions with 2 games left to play.

As for Wanderers they face a Moyale side already guaranteed of safety and fighting for a top 8 slot as the Lions of Kaning’ina now have 39 points from 28 games and could move as high as 4th place with victory in their remaining 2 matches whilst hoping that teams above them stumble.

In other fixtures, Mafco FC have a chance of boosting their survival chances when they play host to Silver Strikers at Champion Stadium.

The Salima based soldiers are living dangerously as they currently occupy 12th position with 31 points from 28 games just as 13th placed Goshen City Dedza Dynamos.

All what Mafco needs is 3 points to be guaranteed of safety.

In other fixture, already relegated Songwe United host Blue Eagles.
