BULLETS, KARONGA LEAD SCORERS’ CHART LIST

Being a team sport, football is a game that requires that the 11 players featuring for a team be actively involved throughout the time they are on the field of play.

Such involvement includes goal creation defending, attacking as well as transitioning in attack and defence.

While individual brilliance is sometimes required to force a result when needed, most goals scored are as a result of team play.

In the 2025 season, current league leaders FCB Nyasa Big Bullets have not just been accumulating the points from individual play, but rather they are playing as a unit if their statistics in number of players involved in their goals this far is anything to by.

After 17 games played so far, the people’s team has scored 38 goals with those goals coming from 12 different sources.

Tied with Bullets are Karonga United who have also produced 12 different scorers from 21 goals in 17 games with 9 other individuals involved in the goals creation process.

Other teams that have also seen their players being flexible in front of goal are Ekhaya United who have produced 10 different scorers while defending champions Silver Strikers have produced 9 different scorers while second placed Mighty Wanderers has also produced 9.

MAFCO, Moyale and Mzuzu City Hammers are tied at 7 different scorers.

There has been a lack of fluidity among Kamuzu Barracks players though, as in 17 games only 5 players have been able to find the back of the net.
