The Malawi National Football team has qualified for the semi finals of the ongoing COSAFA tournament after a convincing 2-0 victory over Comoros in their final group match.
Chawanangwa Kaonga’s 30th minute penalty after and Patrick Mwaungulu’s goal in the 36th were enough to seal a semifinal berth for the Patrick Mabedi ‘s side.
Malawi have made it three wins out of three matches after beating Seychelles and Zambia before today’s match scoring six goals without conceding thus far at the tournament.
The Flames are now waiting to find out who they face in the semifinals later this evening.
