MORE WOES FOR MZUZU CITY HAMMERS

Ganizani James bagged a brace as Blue Eagles FC completed a 6-1 home riot over struggling Mzuzu City Hammers.

Eagles made full use of home ground advantage with just 3 minutes into the game through a Ganizani James penalty  who later doubled his name on the scoresheet on 43 minutes but that was after his teammate Laurent Banda had already doubled the lead for the hosts after 22 minutes of play.

At this point Hammers had already pulled level through Moses Gwayi on 10 minutes.

Despite conceding Egales enjoyed massive ball possession and got their fourth goal on 45 minutes through Maxwell Mbewe who would later double his tally for the day after 66 minutes.

Eliah Kananji’s boys were having a memorable field day as 2 minutes deep into extra time Levison Munyenyembe sealed it all for the Police sponsored side to complete a resounding 6-1 home victory.

At Chitowe Stadium unbeaten Moyale FC maintained their perfect start to the season as the Kaning’ina Lions held on to a 77th minute Duncan Mwale own goal under adverse weather conditions to collect all the maximum points over brothers in arms MAFCO FC.

Moyale now occupy fifth place whilst for their fight to overcome double digits on the log table rages on as they lie 11th with 6 points from 6 games.
