MEDIA RELEASE
The Super League of Malawi (SULOM) in conjunction with sponsors TNM Plc announce a groundbreaking initiative for this Sunday’s highly anticipated match between Karonga United and the 2023 Season Champions, FCB Nyasa Big Bullets.
For the first time in the league’s history, we will implement a 100 percent electronic ticketing system which is driven by TNM Mpamba.
This initiative marks a significant step forward in the ongoing efforts to enhance the fan experience and streamline operations at match entry gates by transitioning from traditional cash payments to modern mobile payment solutions.
SULOM’s decision to adopt TNM Mpamba electronic ticketing aligns with our reviving, reforming and rebranding the league’s broader strategy to embrace digital innovation and improve financial transparency within the league.
This move not only simplifies the ticket purchasing process for fans but also ensures a safer and more efficient entry experience at the stadium. By leveraging the widespread use of mobile phones and TNM Mpamba’s reliable mobile money platform, we aim to provide a seamless and convenient way for supporters to secure their tickets ahead of the big game.
As we roll out this new electronic ticketing system, we encourage all fans to embrace the change and experience the benefits of mobile payments. SULOM remains committed to enhancing the overall Match day experience and we believe this initiative will set a new standard for football events in Malawi. We look forward to seeing the excitement and energy that Karonga United and FCB Nyasa Big Bullets will bring to the pitch, supported by a more modern and efficient ticketing process that paves the way for the future of football in our country.
