Super League of Malawi President Fleetwood Haiya last night made a cash contribution of K4 million towards the Ntopwa Women FC CAF fundraiser.
At an event held at Golden Peacock Hotel in Blantyre SULOM President Fleetwood Haiya said the money he contributed represented K200,000 for each Super League team amounting to K3.2 million while the remaining K800,000 represented the body’s Executive and Secretariat.
In his remarks, the SULOM boss stated that the top-flight league body donated this money towards the initiative not necessarily because it has a lot of money but to ensure that Malawi football is improving at every level.
