The Super League of Malawi (SULOM) is pleased to announce the disbursement of the second tranche of the MK160million TNM subvention funds among all 16 elite clubs.
In the first round, each team received MK5million as part payment of their MK10 million TNM subvention funds for the 2024 season. The amount doubled from MK5 million in the year 2023 as SULOM seeks to Revive, Reform, and Rebrand the league
In total, Super League clubs will in 2024 receive MK20 million in subvention funds as the Football Association of Malawi injects the other MK10million to the clubs.
The Super League of Malawi revised its financial support structure for clubs in line with its strategic commitment to enhancing the financial sustainability and performance of teams.
This initiative is a clear reflection of SULOM’s dedication to the growth and development of football in Malawi, ensuring that clubs have the resources they need to succeed both on and off the pitch.
